Fourth Day in Cambodia – January 31, 2015, Saturday
We all have arrived in the village yesterday and everyone is being adjusted well. On our first day in the village, we joined the ministries at the center from 5 p.m. Over 150 students were coming to the center to study, and the number has increased over years. Praise God for using the center in the mighty way.
We have a tough schedule on Saturday. It will begin early in the morning. The team will be divided into two groups in the morning: the house visiting evangelism group and medical/dental ministry group. In the afternoon, the evangelism group would continue the day with the children’s Bible school, hair-cutting, and taking a portrait. It will be a busy and hard day for everyone. Unlike in city, there is no place to cool down in the village, and the hot weather makes the body much more tire. Pray for the strength to overcome both physical and mental weakness.
Missionary Koo’s family is joining us. His daughter, Ha Young, is suffering with a skin trouble, but the whole family has come down to the village and is doing the ministry with joy. We appreciate their dedication and sacrifice.
Missionary Han’s, Chuck’s and Danny also have joined the team in the village. We are so thankful for co-working with them. Despite of many obstacles, we are witnessing the fruit of our 7 years of labor, and we have no doubt that we will see much more fruits from the seeds that we planted.
Seven students will be baptized on the Lord’s Day, and we will appoint Mr. Saran as an acting deacon. Pray for the growth of the village church so that she will be the vehicle in the Cambodia mission. Pray that the church will grow to have an elder in future.
We covet your prayer for the team that everyone’s health and all the ministries that are in schedule today. We pray for the every matter of saints in Colorado and God’s blessing on the families of Colorado mission team.

네 째날 입니다. 모두들 무사히 마을에 도착 하여 잘 적응하고 있습니다. 도착해서 오후 5시부터 시작 되는 마을 센터 사역에 동참하였습니다. 무려 150명이 되는 학생들이 학교 공부, 말씀 공부를 위하여 센터를 방문하고 있었습니다. 지난 번 보다 훨씬 더 증가된 숫자입니다. 이렇게 센터를 사용하시는 하나님을 찬양합니다.
오늘 사역 [토요일]은 힘든 사역입니다. 아침부터 시작, 오전 축호 전도 및 의료, 치과 사역, 오후 어린이 성경학교, 머리 깎기 영정 사진 등 하루 종일 사역하게 됩니다. 아마 가장 힘든 날이 될 것 같습니다. 마을에 오면, 도시와 달리 너무 더우도 피하여 갈 곳이 없습니다. 그늘 아래도 덥고, 그늘 밖에는 더 덥고.... 그래서 정신적으로 육체적으로 많이 소진 되는 것 같습니다. 여러분의 기도 부탁드립니다.
구선교사님 가정이 동참하고 있습니다. 막내 하영이가 약간의 피부 트러블이 있습니다. 그래서 많이 고생하고 있습니다. 그래도 기쁨으로 온 가족이 마을까지 함께 내려와서 사역을 감당하고 있습니다. 귀한 가정의 헌신에 감사드립니다. 한 선교사님 가정, 척 선교사님 가정, 대니 선교사도 다 팀을 조인해서 협력하고 있습니다. 너무 귀한 동역에 감사를 드립니다. 비록 많은 장애물들이 존재하지만, 그래도 지난 7년의 사역의 열매를 조금씩 보는 것 같아 감사드립니다. 앞으로도 심겨진 씨앗이 반드시 열매 맺을 날이 올 것으로 믿습니다.
주일에는 7명의 학생들이 세례를 받습니다. 그리고 사란 선생님을 서리 집사로 세우려고 합니다. 마을 교회가 앞으로 교회로 잘 정착하여 캄보디아 선교에 영향을 미칠 수 있도록 기도하여 주시기 바랍니다. 평신도 장로님을 세울 수 있는 교회로 성장해 갈 수 있도록 기도하여 주시기 바랍니다.
오늘은 여기까지 입니다. 팀들의 건강을 위해서 기도하여 주시고, 오늘 하루 종일 주님의 은혜 가운데 잘 사역할 수 있도록 여러분의 진한 기도 부탁드립니다. 콜로라도 성도님들의 형편을 위해서 기도합니다. 보내 주신 선교사 여러분의 가정에도 넘치는 주님의 축복이 함께 하기를 기도합니다.
