꿈과 같은 10일간의 사역을 오늘 베드로 전서 4장의 말씀으로 폐회 예배를 드린 후, 단기 선교의 모든 일정을 마쳤습니다. 1팀은 오후 비행기로, 그리고 2팀은 저녁 비행기로 캄보디아를 떠났습니다. 10일간의 공동 사역으로 많은 정이 들어, 서로 눈물을 훔치며 팀들을 전송했습니다. 정말 서로 배려하고, 섬기는 모습을 통하여 천국을 체험한 것 같습니다. 절대 이 경험을 잊지 않고 더 귀한 섬김을 할 수 있도록 다짐을 하였습니다. 다시 한 번 기도로 함께 동참하신 "보낸 선교사" 여러분께 감사드립니다. 혹이라도 우리가 어떤 열매를 맺았다면 함께 기도한 여러분과 공유할 열매라고 생각합니다.
저는 남겨진 사역을 계속하고 있습니다. 오늘은 [2/5/2015, 목요일] 구선교사님과 면담을 가졌고, 내일은 NLMA에 속한 선교사님들과 또 하루 종일 모임을 할 예정입니다. 변화의 시기를 보내는 캄보디아만큼 저희 팀들도 더 유동적으로 변해야 할 시기입니다. 모든 변화들을 잘 수용하고, 팀사역을 잘 감당할 수 있도록 팀 멤버간에 다시 한 번 비전이 확인되고 헌신 되는 시간으로 보낼 수 있도록 기도하여 주시기 부탁드립니다.
Last Day in Cambodia
1 Peter 4:7-11English Standard Version (ESV)
7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who servesby the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
We had the closing worship for the short-term mission team and that concluded the ten days of ministry in Cambodia. I shared from 1 Peter 4:7-11 during the service. First team left Cambodia this afternoon, and another team left in the evening. The team had a tearful farewell after 10 days of living and working together. We truly experienced the heaven as everyone thought about others first and served one another. Everyone promised to remember what they experienced and continue to serve in their future. We thank you all “who are sending missionaries” for your prayers. All the fruits out of this mission trip are the result of your prayers.
I have a remaining ministry to finish here. I had a meeting with Missionary Koo on Thursday, and an all-day meeting with NLMA missionaries is scheduled on Friday. Cambodia is ever changing these days, and our team should know how to respond to any change in the mission field. Pray for the team that they may work together with a renewed dedication as one team who shares the same vision, and they would do their best in their mission works.
I will spend few days in Korea after the meeting with missionaries. Pray that I may return to church with a new energy and a new idea through meetings with good people during my stay in Korea. I will be arriving in Denver on February 11, Wednesday. Pray for my health and a quick adjustment to the ministry as I resume my duty on the weekend of my return.
