We returned to Phnom Penh 12 hours earlier than the schedule. We had a morning devotion together on Wednesday, and everyone had a personal time in the morning. Missionary Danny treated us with a delicious BBQ lunch, and it was so beautiful to see the serving heart of our missionary.
After lunch, the team had a debriefing time looking back the entire mission trip. Everyone was so thankful for the blessings they received rather than think about what they have done, and everyone confirmed their dedication to serve God in the future by remembering what they have experienced. Everyone confessed that coming to the mission field and experiencing the works of God in person was the greatest opportunity, and the team shared how to improve the short-term mission ministry. Pray for my meeting with NLMA missionaries to discuss about the future ministry that God would grant us the wisdom for the meeting so that we can do mission that is glorifying to God.
We truly experienced the power of your prayer for the team during our time here. No one was sick. No one had a complaining heart and the whole schedule was a smooth sailing without any relational issue. It wasn’t possible without your prayer. We thank once again to you all “who are sending-missionaries.” I covet your prayer one more time to keep praying for the rest of this trip.
We miss our home, however, we like to spend the rest of time to embrace a bigger vision. As the weekend is approaching, all of you will be ready to be blessed during the worship services.
주님의 평안을 전합니다. 예정 보다 12시간 먼저 프놈펜에 올라와 수요일 아침은 경건의 시간과 더불어 약간의 개인 시간으로 휴식을 취했습니다. 그리고 데니 선교사님의 후한 대접으로 미국에서도 맛 볼 수 없는 바비큐로 점심을 하였습니다. 섬기려는 선교사님들의 모습이 아름다웠습니다. 점심 식사 후, 대원들과 전체 선교 일정을 되돌아보는 평가회 시간을 가졌습니다. 모두가 무엇을 하였다는 생각보다, 먼저 받은 은혜에 감사 하였고, 정말 이 경험을 잊지 않고 지속적으로 하나님을 섬기려는 헌신을 다짐하였습니다. 백문이 불여 일견이라고, 정말 와서 보니 하나님의 일하심과 함께 하심을 몸소 체험할 수 있는 기회 이었음을 고백하고, 아울러 어떻게 하면 더 나은 단기 선교를 감당할 수 있을 것인가에 대한 의견도 함께 나누었습니다. 이제 NLMA 선교사님들과 미래 모임을 통하여 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 수 있는 복된 선교 사역을 감당할 수 있도록 지혜를 위한 기도 부탁드립니다.
정말 여러분들의 기도를 체험한 이번 단기 선교 일정이었습니다. 특별히 아픈 분도 없었고, 정말 아무런 불평이나 관계적인 문제 없이 잘 진행 되었던 선교 이었습니다. 여러분의 기도가 아니면 정녕 불가능한 일이었을 것이라고 생각합니다. 다시 한 번 기도하며 후원하신 "보낸 선교사" 여러분 모두에게 감사드립니다. 이제 남겨진 일정 잘 감당할 수 있도록 다시 한 번 염치 불구하고 여러분의 기도 부탁드립니다.
두고 온 교회와 집이 슬슬 그리워 지는 시간입니다. 남겨진 시간들을 보다 복되게 더 많은 비전을 품고 돌아가려고 합니다. 이제 주말이 다가 오는데, 여러분 모두가 잘 준비되어져서 복되고 은혜 충만한 예배로 드려지는 주말 사역이 될 수 있기를 기도합니다.
