Come and See:
Restoring Worship through Encounter
Vision Statement
In 2025-2026, the Way Education Ministry
will emphasize the first pillar, ENCOUNTER with a focus on restoring worship.
We believe worship is the core foundation of following the way of Christ. Before our department can embrace community, be equipped, empowered, or engaged in mission,
we need to first learn how to delight in God’s presence.
We recognize that many of our children and youth do not know the basics of worship, forgetting how to pray, how to read the Bible, how to simply enjoy God’s presence,
and glorify Him. Our vision this year is to help the next generation “Come and See”
Jesus for themselves and restore the heart of worship in our ministry
In 2025-2026, the WAY ministry will implement a centralized curriculum approach on Sundays, meaning the entire education department from infants to youth will engage with the same bible passage each week. This unites the education department as all age groups, including the directors and teachers, explore the same passage each week. It also opens the opportunity to restore worship in homes. By centralizing the curriculum. Parents are empowered to reinforce the weekly lesson at home as they can ask their children across different ministries the same questions and encourage discussions through family worship. This approach supports the theme of Come and See: Restoring Worship through Encounter.

Why it matters

Fruits we pray for
By the end of 2025-2026, we pray to see:
- Children and students naturally turning to prayer in their daily life.
- Families building rhythms of prayer and worship at home, strengthening faith across generations.
- Leaders and teachers known as great mentors that model dependence on God.
- A ministry culture where students and children hunger for holiness by resisting cultural pressure.
